XLQ2 is an amazing Excel plug-in created by Leo van Rijswijk. Create custom spreadsheets that retrieve real-time and historical financial data. Workbooks can be designed by simply writing Excel / XLQ formulas. In order to run the XLQ workbooks one must: 1) Have an XLQ subscription, downlead and install XLQ2 Excel plug-in and 2) Have a data provider. Yahoo and some brokers provide free data but you may find their data doesn't work with certain XLQ formulas. So you may need to pay for a data provider.
