How you think is everything. Actively developing the right mindset can have a lasting positive effect on one's results. If you want elite results then an empowering mindset can be a tremendous edge.
1. Focus on best self or future self (who you really want to be) vs. now, temporary self (what you want now).
2. Have goals and focus on achieving those goals.
3. Work for it. Don't wish for it, don't complain about it.
4. Focus on what is true, not what you wish or want it to be.
5. Don’t blame others or the universe... take complete responsibility for results.
6. Ask results oriented and empowering questions. Then develop a plan for corrective action.
7. Use 'Mini Habits' or break tasks down into smaller achievable components to overcome resistance.
8. Focus only on what directly or indirectly improves results.
9. Practice 'mindfulness' to increase self-awareness and self-regulation (examples are: waking mediation, thoughtful breathing, visualization to overcome obstacles, etc)
10. Know your beliefs. Determine which ones help and which ones harm results. Let go of beliefs that don't achieve wanted results and goals.
11. Reflect and learn everyday
12. Practice gratitude, forgiveness and acceptance
13. Remember kindness is a choice. Be kind to yourself and others.
